Podium

Bernard Frédéric (Benoît Poelvoorde), a middle-aged banker with a wife, Véro (Julie Depardieu), and a child, has a respectable life but dreams of more. Years ago, he was an enterprising entertainer, successfully imitating adored French pop star Claude François. Bernard enjoyed his offbeat career until his wife insisted he abandon it. Now a fateful phone call from the real François urges Bernard to return to his glittery garb and compete in a televised celebrity impersonator showdown.
