Iñaki is a fortyish Basque clinging to their customs that has never left Euskadi. His life takes a complete turn when he has to accompany his mother Maritxu to Seville on a trip from Imserso.

Life without a mother is not easy for Iñaki, especially when he has to live in Carmen's chaos and putting up with his neighbors. However, things get even worse when Bego shows up, trying to take Maritxu home.

Iñaki considers returning to Basque Country when he learns there is a position open at the Arzak restaurant. Rober wants to get back together with Carmen, but she is tired of his lack of commitment.

Iñaki starts working at the bar, which doesn't offer a relaxed work environment because Rafi and Isabel are afraid of being fired; Azucena asks to borrow money from Benjumea to study in London.

Iñaki designs a menu with pintxos, but clashes with Isabel's stubbornness regarding the Seville Fair; Isabel decides to swallow her pride and learn Basque if she wants her business to work.
