Olivia Luccardi

Olivia Luccardi was born in Brooklyn. She had a part in the 2011 NBC pilot "The Secret Lives of Husbands and Wives," directed by Mark Pellington, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, and based on the bestselling book by Josie Brown. The pilot did not make it to series, so her first major onscreen exposure came on a 2013 episode of "Girls" (HBO, 2012-17) playing a Staten Island girl angry that she was being accosted by Ray (Alex Karpovsky). In 2014, Luccardi was extremely busy, appearing in "Orange is the New Black" (Netflix, 2013-) and "House of Cards" (Netflix, 2013-) as well as the films "Like Sunday, Like Rain" (2014), and "The Rewrite" (2014), a comedy from writer/director Marc Lawrence starring Hugh Grant and Marisa Tomei. Also in 2014, the film "It Follows" premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, with Luccardi as the female second lead. The film, a clever take on zombie tropes that plays on fears about teen sexuality, became a critical success and sleeper hit upon its 2015 release.
