어린 아들 차돌(고동하)과 단 둘이 살아가는 홀아비 생계형 보쌈꾼 바우(정일우). 춘배(이준혁)와 함께 해결사 노릇을 하며 동네의 개차반으로 불리우는 생활을 한다. 그러던 어느 날, 춘배가 마지막이라며 부탁해 어쩔수 없이 보쌈을 하게 되는데, 보쌈해 온 사람이 광해군(김태우)의 하나 밖에 없는 딸, 옹주(권유리)인 걸 알게 된다.
