In July of 1974, the Delisles and Paquettes drive their kids to summer camp but on the way back home, there's obvious tension between the two couples.

Somebody mysteriously shoots at Gaétan, and there are many possible suspects; Gaétan confronts Huguette, who reveals a surprisingly intimidating side.

Hugette's marriage might be in a shambles, but she impresses henchman René, who introduces her to his boss Kingpin to get her first job.

The gang bonds when they help Huguette clean up after her job; when Huguette goes to collect her compensation, she gets berated by Kingpin for botching the assignment; Huguette takes brutal revenge against Kingpin.

René warns Gaétan that Kingpin's planning his revenge with the help of two men; the gang figure out their names, Coco and Puff, and try to make a deal with them; René confesses his feelings for Huguette; Gaétan commits his first major crime.

The gang start to think of themselves as a proper criminal organization, with the exception of Serge; when co-workers try to blackmail Serge, his dark side finally comes out; Huguette tries to scare Kingpin into retiring.
