Valentin de Vargas

Valentin de Vargas's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. De Vargas started his entertainment career by acting in comedies like the Jane Powell film "Girl Most Likely" (1958) and "Hatari!" (1961). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "They Call It Murder" (NBC, 1971) and "Chase" (NBC, 1972-73). He also starred in the TV movies "Incident on a Dark Street" (1972-73), "Visions. ." (CBS, 1972-73) and "The Gun" (ABC, 1974-75). He also appeared in "Perilous Voyage" (NBC, 1975-76). His career progressed to film, including a role in "The Bears and I" (1974) with Patrick Wayne. De Vargas took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in the adventure "Treasure of Matecumbe" (1976) with Robert Foxworth, "Fast Forward" (1985) with John Scott Clough and the William Petersen action movie "To Live and Die in L.A." (1985). He also appeared in the crime drama "This World, Then the Fireworks" (1997) with Billy Zane. He also was featured in the TV movie "Drug Wars: the Camarena Story" (NBC, 1989-1990). De Vargas last appeared on "Reconstructing Evil" (Starz, 1998-99). De Vargas passed away in June 2013 at the age of 78.
