Ghosts

Sam and Jay hope to impress some cool friends from the city with a Halloween party at the mansion. But when Pete's ex-wife, Carol, drops by unannounced - and significantly overstays her welcome - Sam worries that her presence will spoil the event. Meanwhile, after accidentally summoning Molly from the beyond last year on Halloween, the ghosts decide to host a seance to bring back their recently departed friend.

When a big investor backs out of Sam and Jay's restaurant, they're left with no choice but to turn to the one ghost who has money: Isaac, whose involvement unfortunately comes with some strings. Meanwhile, Pete panics and once again plays the fake girlfriend card, but when things get out of hand he's forced to take advice from an unexpected - and unwanted - source.

Trevor's remote finance job is jeopardized when his company wants to have an on-site meeting. Meanwhile, Sass and Hetty attempt to battle boredom by starting a rumor.

Alberta offers to help Sam prepare for an audition for a community theater production. Also, Sass finds a new reason to interfere in Jay's dreams.

When Sam's book publisher tells her that she needs to provide primary source materials to accompany the Isaac Higgentoot biography she's writing, Sam, Pete and Jay take a trip to Fort Ticonderoga to find a diary that Isaac claims he stashed when he was alive. Meanwhile, some of the ghosts come across a ghost snail, and vie to see who gets to keep this rare find as their ghost pet.

When Sam accidentally creates a rift between Margaret and Henry Farnsby, Henry moves into the B&B, where he discovers a secret that could derail Jay's restaurant dream. Sam and Jay realize the only way to get Henry Farnsby off their back, is to fix his marriage. Meanwhile, in the wake of their failed engagement, Isaac and Nigel debate who should get to keep a late-to-arrive wedding present.
