Manon, a shy 16-year-old, is forced to live with her unbearable grandmother Yvonne, a former feminist with Alzheimer's. Yvonne begins mistaking Manon for her daughter, leading Manon to play the role of the mother she barely knew. Through this, she uncovers her family's history and learns about becoming herself.
