KaMadonsela is reprimanded for getting Bheki arrested while Phakade and his family celebrate Bheki's arrest. MaZulu sees how she is tearing her family apart and feels bad. Fikile gives Buhle her first paycheck.

Nokuzola is unsettled when Zithulele talks future babies and wants her to be cleansed from the dead baby. MaZulu announces that there will be no more fighting with Nkululeko. Harriet puts Phakade in his place.

Nokuzola tries to talk her way out of the cleansing. Nkululeko rages at Zethu and leaves her an emotional wreck. Nokuzola asks Khanyo to be her maid of honour. Phakade names the miscarried baby.

Nokuzola is tormented about the abortion, and Zithulele thinks she's just anxious about the cleansing ceremony. Zethu is angry, she neglects her baby and refuses to go to work.

MaNdlovu surprises everyone when she talks about her youth. Nkululeko is reluctant to attend the family ceremony. Celiwe discourages maNdlovu from reconnecting with her old lover. Zola's womb gets blessed as part of the ritual. Zithulele gets shocki.
