S1, E7: Ryuzan High School does not have the budget to hire teachers due to the chairman's wasteful spending. Sakuragi places Ino in charge of teaching world history, and a television show picks up on the story of the special class. Maki's pride gets the best of her when her friend Asumi appears as a celebrity reporter. Sakuragi objects to giving interviews that may distract students from the upcoming University of Tokyo mock exam, but Yuriko is excited by the prospect of appearing on television and ignores him. The students acquiesce to the in-depth media coverage and then resume their focus on preparing for the mock exam. On the day of the exam, the students arrive at the venue and try to appear calm, but they are filled with anxiety inside.
