Be Afraid

Not long after John Chambers and his family arrive at their new home in the small country town of Clarion, Pennsylvania, John begins to experience sleep paralysis, in which he awakens from deep sleep, finding himself unable to move. Lying there paralysed, other-worldly beings watch over him. They are entities which exist in the darkest shadows of the night and can only be seen out of the corner of one's eye. These encounters intrigue John, causing him to question reality itself, but what begins as fascination, suddenly transforms to terror when he discovers the entities' true purpose: the abduction of his 6 year old son. If John has any hope of ever seeing his family together again, he must quickly unravel the truth behind the beings' existence and most importantly understand their purpose. In the end John will uncover the town's dark horrific secret, a portal on his land, and make one last attempt to save his family before the shadow people permanently take his son away to their world.
