Super-sleuth Sherlock Holmes and his faithful sidekick Watson investigate the sinking of a ship seemingly brought down by a sea monster. They find themselves drawn to a criminal mastermind who appears to have a host of terrifying beasts at his beck-and-call, and intends to use them to destroy London and kill the Queen.
