Melinda lends a hand to Eli's patient who thinks he's being watched by his sister's ghost. Meanwhile, Melinda and Jim are concerned when Aiden talks about his shiny friends that aren't ghosts but something else.

Cappie turns to Rusty for his brain power after the volcano for Kappa Tau's legendary Mount Vesuvius party fails to erupt. Elsewhere, Casey and Evan are back on track as he introduces her to his powerful parents over dinner, but an unexpected appearance by Senator's daughter Rebecca leaves Casey feeling like an outsider.

With Dean Bowman's punitive restrictions still casting a shadow over life on campus, Casey shows true leadership. She decides to have the Zeta Betas join forces with Cappie and his Kappa Tau brothers to plan a 1920s-style secret prohibition party.

Casey has a hard time dealing with the fact that arch-rival Rebecca and ex-boyfriend Cappie are now officially an item and resorts to some ill-judged distraction tactics. Meanwhile, Rusty has problems of his own as he realises that his Kappa Tau pledge brothers do not especially rate him. He resolves to find a way of winning their approval.

The ZBZ girls throw a competition among themselves as they each coach a different fraternity in a series of games. Casey coaches the Lambda Sigs and ends up developing a crush on one of the fraternity brothers.

The pledges at Kappa Tau are fed up with the harsh treatment from the actives and fight back, meanwhile Evan attempts to use Calvin's relationship with Michael to help a brother out of a failing grade.
