Abbot visits a factory, where he is harangued by a woman employee who wants to make a public point about the treatment of her ailing mother. The whole incident is captured by TV cameras and it is up to Malcolm Tucker to try and stop ITN running the footage.

Alan meets Jasper Jones - forthright and outspoken ‘maverick’ author of latest book ‘Free Speech’. He also meets a celebrity chef - but her recipe includes fennel…which is a bit of an issue for Alan.
