Noah Reid

A veteran performer on Canadian television, Noah Reid transitioned successfully from voice-over roles in animated and live-action turns on teen-oriented programs to turns as endearingly nervous young men in "Kevin from Work" (ABC, 2015) and "Schitt's Creek" (CBC/Pop, 2015-). Born Noah Nicholas Reid in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he was a professional actor from an early age, primarily in Canadian animated television series like the long-running "Franklin" (Family Channel, 1997-2004), for which he voiced the titular turtle hero, and "Babar" (CBC/Global TV/HBO, 1989-2004). Reid moved into live-action series for teenagers like "Strange Days at Blake Holsey High" (Global TV, 2002-06) before earning his degree from the National Theatre School of Canada and his first starring role in "Score: A Hockey Musical" (2010) opposite Olivia Newton-John. Supporting turns in the Julian Fellowes-penned "Titanic" (Global Television/ITV/ABC) miniseries led to his first series leads, first in the web comedy "Backpackers" (CTV/CW Seed/CW, 2013-15) and later, in the short-lived ABC comedy "Kevin From Work," which cast him as a young man whose plans to move on after an unrequited romance are upended. In 2017, Reid joined the cast of the popular Canadian comedy series "Schitt's Creek" as the business partner and eventual fiancé to series star/showrunner Daniel Levy's vain Daniel. For his performance on "Creek," Reid was named Best Supporting or Guest Actor in a Comedy by the Canadian Screen Awards in 2019.
