Frasier is surprised and flustered when a neighbour spends the night with Martin and makes a fool of himself talking about it on the air.

Maris disappears without a trace for two days. When a frantic Niles finds out that she has simply flown to New York for a shopping trip, he angrily confronts her, leading to their separation.

Roz informs Frasier that the new station manager Kate is not going to give the employees a raise, and starts a labour strike. However, during the negotiations, he finds himself attracted to the station manager.

The radio station goes from bad to worse without Roz and Frasier, and management is compelled to change the programming. Our two friends are certain that they will get their old jobs back.

The Russian origin of Martin's clock prompts Frasier and Niles to look for evidence they're descendants of the Romanov dynasty.

Frasier and Roz are nominated for a Seattle Broadcasting Award, and go to extreme lengths to influence the committee members.
