Drama series about a curmudgeonly country doctor and his patients in Cornwall. Louisa and Martin have their first therapy session together, but neither of them expected to be given homework. Louisa is surprised when Martin agrees to let schoolboy Peter Cronk do work experience at the surgery, but Morwenna is not quite so happy about it when Peter starts trying to boss her around. Mrs Tishell is surprised by the return of her husband Clive and even more so when he tells her he wants to give things another go. After losing the restaurant, Bert has nowhere to live except his new campervan. When one of her pupils collapses during a school excursion, Louisa has to call Martin to help her..
