1000 Heartbeats

Vernon Kay presents a game show series where contestants are up against their own body clock. Set up with the latest heart-monitoring equipment, the competitors' heart rates are recorded as they play the game. They are each given 1000 heartbeats as a time limit during which they must answer a series of questions. The faster their heart races, the quicker their time is up; once a contestant runs out of heartbeats, the game is over. In order to ultimately win the cash prize, contestants must keep their cool under the pressure and make it through seven rounds.
