ALL OUT!!

Upon entering Kanagawa High, Gion Kenji, a student upset over his short stature, becomes inspired to join the rugby team. Iwashimizu Sumiaki, a capable player with a troubled past, decides not to join the team.

Upon joining the team, Gion and Iwashimizu face a formidable training exercise. Gion hopes to prove he has the skills necessary to become an expert tackler.

Kanagawa High has a practice match against one of the area's top teams. Iwashizumi's past catches up with him when he comes face to face with the player he injured in middle school.

As the match continues, team captain Sekizan hopes for a comeback by substituting Gion into the game, giving him his first opportunity to show his worth.

The team kicks off an intensive training camp, which goes awry when an old national team coach makes disparaging remarks. Sekizan approaches the coach for advice.

Veteran coach Komori joins the team and hotheaded Ebumi picks a fight with teammates.
