This period comedy series, set in titular Blandings Castle in 1929, is based on the stories of humorist PG Wodehouse. Befuddled Lord Emsworth - whose friends call him Clarence - only wants to be left alone with his beloved pig, The Empress, but his plans are often thwarted by friends, visitors, servants and spongers. In terms of his family life, Clarence tries to keep peace in his dysfunctional family but often adds to the chaos in the family, which includes indomitable sister Connie, hapless son Freddie and loyal butler Beach.
