During a failed raid, detective inspector Leni Herold is taken hostage by two bank robbers in front of her father, operations manager Steffen Herold. Steffen has to decide in a flash whether the perpetrators can be overpowered.

The German-French police unit are monitoring a drug deal in the Strassbourg harbour in order to catch the criminals red-handed. However, before police can make any arrests, one of the two Russian criminals is shot.
