South of the Grampians in Victoria, a kelpie gives birth to a litter of puppies and the owner of the dogs gives them all an inspection.
It's spills and thrills as the puppies and trainers stumble and at times leap through the milestone challenges. Frank and CJ are going well but Joni, Aticia and Rob are off to a bumpy start.
The puppies, now six months old, develop their stalking livestock techniques, and learn manners and basic calls.
The puppies are now a year old and have all gathered with their owners to complete their final 12-month assessment. One pup shines brighter than the pack and is rightfully crowned Champion Muster Dog.
Debbie and Snip become the parents of a newborn litter of pups in Goondy Creek. They decide to send them to five Australian graziers, who will attempt to train their pup in less than a year.
The pups start to develop their own unique personalities and build a good bond with their owners while training for the five-month assessment is well underway.
