1. Baked Trout and a Mountain Stream
Tam and Lia cross the mountains to buy trout at the head of a mountain stream, find the perfect red wine in an immaculate vineyard, select pears from Gino the local greengrocer and succulent peppers from the Cookucina garden.
EPISODE 2
2. Medieval Food and the Fish Pirate
Tam and Lia go to market to buy anchovies from the Fish Pirate and travel to a ruined hillside castle to find a restaurateur who specializes in the mediaeval recipes of the Italy's beautiful Le Marche region.

3. Truffle Hunting and an Ugly Fish
Tam and Lia make a fish mousse with the ugliest fish you'll ever see; searching for truffles with Tonino and his truffle-dog, Fiuto.

4. Soft Salami and a Roman Ruin
In the Sibillini Mountains to meet unique Marchigiana cattle that graze the high pastures in summer; visit a family-run business making a local speciality, a soft salami called ciauscolo; a medieval pageant in Sarnano.

5. Mountain Ricotta and Ferragosto Fun
Tam and Lia join in a local Sagra, a summer party with home-made food, and travel to the hills to watch ricotta cheese being made in Maria's country kitchen; a medieval religious festival of the Feast of the Assumption.

6. Cooked Wine and a Wild Boar Hunt
A trip to a mountain lake; a Festival celebrating vin cotto, where Tam and Lia meet a barrel of wine that's over a hundred years old; spectacular fireworks light up the night sky in honour of cooked wine.
