Abdulla Khan, a young British-Pakistani junior doctor based in London, is bitten by a halal-hunting vampire, and he finds himself stuck in an identity crisis.

After waking up in a hospital bed with no memory of the previous evening, Abdulla discovers he's developed inexplicable allergies and is having insatiable cravings at work. It'll take a lot to convince his mum Bushara that he's not turned to alcohol.

Abdulla promises to bring Kathy along to a dinner party at the home of his unrequited love Amrita to quash his friends' conspiracies and get some answers out of her.

Abdulla, desperate for some answers and unfaltering in his desire to find a cure to his vampirism, agrees to go on a date with Kathy at her favourite haunt. Meanwhile, Bushra and Shafi arrange for a marriage counsellor to see Abdulla.

After gatecrashing Amrita's sister Preethi's hen night, Abdulla is introduced as Amrita's new Sikh boyfriend and is invited to the wedding by an ex.

The Shadow over Heathrow
Abdulla's terrified of the consequences of his identity being revealed as he escapes with Amrita from the wedding. But as they come clean about their feelings for one another, she offers a potential route out for the young Muslim doctor.
