Pattie reneges on a promise to Tess, causing Tess to put a curse on Pattie. Pattie does not believe in curses, but bad luck arrives nonetheless. Tess says she will remove the curse if Pattie apologises, but Pattie refuses to do so.

He might hate it, but Alex wants to keep his job at Bulky's. However, his tenure is on thin ice, and on the verge of being terminated, when Ben hires a champion burger flipper to show Alex that he means business.
