A student is removed from the roster and Saki uses her power outside of class.

The group rows past the safe areas in search of monsters and what they find is much worse than what they imagined.

Split from the rest of the group, Satoru and Saki are captured by the outside Monster Rat group.

With little chance to escape, Saki discovers a way to gain their powers back, but it comes at a great cost to Satoru.
