Hot up-and-coming rock star Shuichi Shindo is about to hit the big time. Unfortunately, this young lyricist has some major writer's block, and studio deadlines are looming. When fate causes his path to cross that of popular romance writer Eiri Yuki, it's a whirlwind tale of love and hate.

Even though the band's debut performance is quickly approaching, Shuichi can't seem to focus on anything other than Yuki. Upset by Yuki's harsh criticism, Shuichi finishes his song.

Hiro and Shuichi become real-life heroes when they rescue a young lady from two evil-looking thugs during a late-night walk home. They're quite surprised to learn they've rescued Yuki's fiancée.

Ayaka's arrival makes Shuichi wonder just how much he really knows about Yuki. Meanwhile, Taki is set on ruining Bad Luck, and goes after a vulnerable Shuichi.
