Guy Martin: The F1 Specials

It's BMW superbike versus Red Bull Racing grand prix car as Guy goes head to head with legend David Coulthard in a series of high speed challenges to investigate the science behind why an F1 car is so fast.

Guy gets privileged access to the normally-hidden inner workings of a Formula 1 team as he tries to become the first person from outside the sport to take part in a grand prix pit stop. He joins the elite Williams Racing pit crew at the Belgian Grand Prix, who can change all four tyres in under 2 seconds.

After helping rebuild the first 1983 Williams F1 car Ayrton Senna tested, Guy gets to race the priceless vehicle against Jenson Button in the extraordinary FW08B six-wheeler, at a special one off event during the British Grand Prix.
