The story follows a group of four childhood friends as they try to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance of their fifth member, who went missing 20 years ago. After a devastating incident, Jesse was lost to them and presumed dead. Many years later and the boy's DNA is discovered at the scene of a murder. The discovery reunites the group, as they believe Jesse might still be alive. Danny, now a detective, gets involved in the investigation, while Jesse's older brother Mark offers his legal advice.
