During World War II the property was used as a billet for the RAF and letters dating back to 1940's have been found hidden under the floorboards. The family claim to have experienced strange dark shadows on the staircases as well as the noise of WWII planes, soldiers' voices and footsteps in the dead of night. Mia claims to have uncovered a vortex or doorway, linking this world and the next.

They claim that the ghosts of two old women appeared to their son Callum and they regularly see sinister shadowy figures, hear children playing, and smell tobacco smoke and perfume. Mia claims that she contacted the spirit of a man called Ned, who was unable to rest until he'd avenged his murder.

Mum Marie is convinced that they have a poltergeist and is desperate to clear the house of this unwanted intruder. The family claim to be harassed by shadowy figures and strange smells. Even as a child Stuart believed that his dead great-grandmother used to appear and speak to him. Mia says she confronted two spirits, one good and the other a sinister entity.

Curious about what they claim was evidence of the paranormal these flatmates held a séance after which they believe the supernatural activity escalated. They report seeing shadows, orbs and Charlie claims to have been poked in the back and still bears the scars today. Mia claims she actually contacted the spirit of a young 1950's gang member called Steve.
