TV presenter and designer Sarah Moore renovates a derelict house on the Greek island of Skiathos. She visits the house for the first time and discovers the complications of renovating in a different country.

Sarah's build is under pressure, with only five weeks to go until the Greek tourist season begins. With builders doubling up as speedboat drivers and noisy building work banned in the summer months, Sarah and her family are up against the clock.

The Greek summer is in full swing and the builders are busy in the height of the tourist season. To keep things moving, Sarah steps in to stop the newly poured concrete cracking in the heat, but there are plenty of other cracks beginning to show.

With the builders struggling to keep to schedule, Sarah recruits her sons to help with the build. She hopes laying foundations and heavy lifting in the 30-degree heat will help the boys come on board with her vision, and create their family dream.

As the build finally comes together, Sarah's focus turns to the interiors. Using her considerable design skills to ensure every inch is used to its best potential, she makes the surprising decision to place an alfresco bath on the roof.

The months of hard graft are starting to pay off, but there's building work still to do, a whole house to furnish and a party to plan. It's the last push before Sarah and her family can finally open the doors to their Home Greek Home.
