Katarina Huss follows in her mother's footsteps and becomes a detective with the Göteburg police. As a newcomer to the force, she has to contend not only with the hard life of Gothenburg but also with her suspicious colleagues.

When the evidence proves too weak to convict a notorious womanizer, Katarina's loyalty to her team is put to the test. After a murder is committed, which is related to this case, everything is turned upside down.

A wave of burglaries ravages an affluent neighbourhood in Gothenburg, with the perpetrators not shying away from violence. Meanwhile, things are not going well between Katarina and her colleague Darius. During a routine check, Robert crosses a line.

Katarina infiltrates a gang of drug smugglers, but struggles to keep her professional life separate from her private life. Slowly but surely she is drawn deeper into the criminal organisation.

The Riots
It is still not clear what happened during the riots. After a colleague is attacked, Katarina decides to search for the truth herself. Then another colleague is hit by a car and the perpetrator drives on.
