Al Wayne, a young farmer, lives peacefully in the countryside growing his vegetables. However, things change when his farming skills reach their maximum level and an army of demons attacks the kingdom.

After slaying a dragon, saving the princess and then the entire kingdom of Meigis, it's becoming increasingly difficult for Al to remain a farmer. Especially as he has accepted Princess Fal's offer to join the guild.

While on his first quest as an adventurer, Al crossed paths with the terrifyingly evil dragon Ouroboros. Returning to the guild to report back, he realises that Helen's past is linked to that of the creature.

In the village of Honol, Al and Fal meet the ghost of Helen's brother, Rai, who tells them how he was killed fifteen years ago by Ouroboros. He also taught them how to defeat the evil dragon and save his sister.

Al is finally able to resume his peaceful life as a farmer. On his way to visit his parents, he is once again confronted by one of his sworn enemies, but is miraculously saved by a young girl with blue hair.

After seeing his eccentric family again and buying some fertiliser from Rulgus, Al is ready to return to the capital with his new travel partner, Ruri. However, Ruri is nowhere to be found, having left to investigate.
