Cheon-gi paints and sells imitation art for a living. While chasing a scammer, she comes across Ha Ram, an astrologer of the palace.

Cheon-gi's physical contact awakens the demon within Ha Ram. Sam Shin and the Tiger Spirit help lock the demon back into Ha Ram's body.

Ha Ram realises that Cheon-gi is a girl from his childhood memories. Cheon-gi enters a painting competition to save her father's life.

When Prince Yangmyeong spots the fake painting, Cheon-gi paints a new piece by incorporating her memories of Ha Ram.

Cheon-gi passes to the final round of the competition. Ha Ram chooses to hide his feelings for Cheon-gi to keep her safe from the Demon inside him.

Cheon-gi wins the painting competition, but her father is furious. She goes to Gohwawon on the prince's orders and finds out why her father is so angry.
