Combining the fun of a classic monster movie with a winner-take-all gladiatorial contest, `Monster Bug Wars!' follows the insect world's most lethal predators engaging in one-on-one showdowns for survival, supremacy ... and supper. Spiders, scorpions, centipedes and killer ants are among the creepy creatures filmed in microscopic detail in their natural setting as they take on their enemies. Horror movie sound effects and commentary from professors Bryan Grieg Fry, a leading expert on venom and its effects on humans, and Linda Rayor, a Cornell University entomologist, accompany the fatal fights.
