Myra Hindley: The Untold Story

This programme explores Hindley's turbulent childhood, the events which led to her fateful meeting with Ian Brady and the start of their relationship. The film features interviews with two of Hindley's school friends, one of whom is speaking for the first time. It also looks at Hindley's unpublished autobiography, which focuses on her violent unbringing in Gorton, Manchester.

This film explores the stories of Brady and Hindley's five known murder victims and the accounts of the children who got away - most notably David Smith, who was groomed as Brady's next acolyte. It reveals the meticulous planning that preceded the murders, the bizarre details of the crimes and Brady's fascination with Hitler, Saddleworth Moor and the Marquis de Sade.
