A man in London encounters an injured young woman, and instantly exists only to those in London Below. As he helps the woman escape from assassins, he must try to find his way back to London Above.

When Richard Mayhew stops to help a wounded girl, it is the start of a nightmare journey into a parallel world that exists below the streets of London. The girl, Door, is on the run from two assassins.

Knightsbridge
Richard has fallen into the netherworld but wants his old life back. He must locate Door and the Marquis to do so. To find them though, he must pass through the most dangerous neighbourhood in London.

Earls Court to Islington
The only person who can tell Door who killed her family and help Richard return to his old life is the Angel Islington.
EPISODE 4
Blackfriars
Richard and Door are sent on a quest for a key held by the Blackfriars.
EPISODE 5
Downstreet
Richard and Door have won the sacred key for the Angel Islington. On their journey back, they descend to the depths of London, and come face-to-face with their worst nightmare.
EPISODE 6
As Above, So Below
Events reach a climax as Hunter confronts the Great Beast of London, the legendary quarry she has waited so long to face.
