Masham is a market town nestled between the Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire Moors. Locals plan to restore their derelict grocer's shop and revitalise the town. They want to bring back its Victorian interior and create a café and a historic bakery.

Volunteers are three weeks into the restoration. The hunt for stock starts, with local produce to the fore, including handmade candles from the Dales, flour from a medieval watermill, and soap scented with natural oils from a York producer.

With the grand opening of the restored grocers Peacock & Verity just a week away, a show-stopping window display is required. The team head for Castle Museum in York for some inspiration. And the bakehouse oven faces a life-or-death safety test.

As the team apply the finishing touches to Peacock & Verity, a leaking roof threatens to put a dampener on the town's great restoration project.
