Postman Pat

Greendale holds a kite-flying festival and everyone enters.

A naughty goat goes on a crime spree in Greendale, eating the labels off Pat's parcels, the Reverend Timms' geraniums, PC Selby's special dress trousers and Julian and Meera's picnic. The villagers have to coax her into a van to take her home.

The villagers race to fix Ted's ice cream machine in time for the picnic.

The villagers hold a race to see who has the best vehicle.

It's National Recycling Week and the village holds a jumble sale. Everyone donates their old rubbish and soon realises that although something might be worthless to one person, it has great value to somebody else. Julian recycles Pat's old newspapers into papier-mâché piggybanks, which rapidly sell out.

Pat has been asked by Nisha to perform a magic show at Meera's birthday party. Pat practices all day long but, to start with, his tricks are a disaster. Ajay and Ted offer to make the cabinets needed for the tricks and soon everyone is working hard for the party. On the day of the party Pat performs a number of tricks including palmistry and making Meera levitate. The final party piece is a disappearing act with Jess. Jess walks into the cabinet. "Abracadabra" cries Pat and opens the curtain. "Ooh" cries everyone, admiringly. Jess really has disappeared! Unbeknownst to Pat, Jess has walked out of the back of the cabinet and gone to sleep in Pat's special magic top hat. As the search for Jess gets increasingly frantic, Ted notices a quiet snoring sound coming from the hat. He whispers to Pat who gratefully "magic's" Jess out of the top hat. Everyone cheers and Pat is a roaring success.
