When Si Teng is killed by a fellow alien, Jia San witnesses the murder. He's told that if he wants to live, then his family must keep watch of her corpse at Dan Na.

A rumour circulates that Si Teng's people have the ability to save humans. However, there is an unknown price to pay and anyone who is saved will be mutated.

Dan Zhi Gao advises Qin Fang to fine someone to love. Meanwhile, Si Teng is searching for Qiu Shan, but is told that his has literally disappeared.

Si Teng discovers that she can recover her memories by touching vines. From these newly recovered memories, she sees herself being awakened by Qiu Shan.
