`Redfern Now' is a drama series that follows the lives of six Indigenous Australian households living in a contemporary Sydney surburb. A seemingly insignificant incident, accident or a moment's decision changed the lives of these families who are the focus of each of the six episodes. Grace and Wesley are about to set off on a holiday of a lifetime with their two children, that is until the phone rings and everything changes. Grace's unstable sister takes a turn for the worst and she hasn't got a choice but to pick up the pieces much to the dismay of her own family unit.
