Shep Rose dreams of being married with two children by the time he turns 40, but he's cutting it pretty close. He takes his search on the road to visit friends who work to set him up on blind dates with friends they think would fit well with him.

A surprise guest arrives and fills the dream house with tension. Shep tries to handle a sticky situation. Hot tempers and high stress lead to an explosion at a birthday party.

Shep sets out to impress on his date with Bella, and brings the best of his charm to his rooftop venture with Priscila. Plus, he goes to a baseball game with Peyton, and on a cruise with Kylie.

Shep turns to his mum for advice when he begins to feel conflicted, and he's reminded of the importance of following his heart.
