The Killing Sun

In Corsica, veteran policeman Angel Renucci is forced to team up with a new and young assistant, Sébastien Le Tallec.

At dawn, the body of a diver and eco-warrior is discovered floating in a creek in the Gulf of Lava.

Sébastien is the victim of attempted murder in the middle of the night. Ange is baffled and his confusion mounts when a woman is found on a stud farm at dawn. Undocumented and amnesiac, she is covered in someone else's blood.

A young woman's corpse is washed up by the sea bearing handcuff marks. Her friend Clara is the girlfriend of Ange's nephew. Both have disappeared. Encouraged by Ève, Clara is keen to end the relationship.

A banker falls victim to a road accident, but it soon becomes clear that it was staged: the victim was hit by another car. The duo investigate the real location of the tragedy and piece together the banker's movements.

Ange kidnaps Leccia, the mafia businessman he suspects of attempted murder. The following day, Leccia is found dead. Everything points to Ange, who is remanded in custody. Sébastien is convinced of his innocence, and investigates in secret.
