Tormented by the murder of his parents as a child, Frank Nordling becomes consumed by revenge when his police officer sister, Sara, discovers evidence that their parents' killer is part of Copenhagen's underworld.

Frank starts work at the law firm that represents Thomas Waldman and is given one week to prove himself by winning a case. Sara uses her police contacts to investigate Waldman's number two, Bogdan.

Frank secretly prepares his former colleague Fredrika to carry out Daniella's appeal for release from prison. But as Frank grows optimistic, Waldman becomes nervous and orders a hit on Daniella.
