In this drama series, Ray Winstone plays Jimmy Rose, a notorious armed robber whose criminal life has cost him time with his family. After serving 12 years in prison, Jimmy is released and goes home to find that his family has moved on. Amanda Redman takes on the role of Jackie Rose, Jimmy's long-suffering wife who is unsure if she even loves him anymore since he abandoned her to bring up their two children on her own. The ex-convict's son, Jason, is also reluctant to have any kind of relationship with his father. It is up to Jimmy now to try to rebuild his life again and prove that his life of crime really is a thing of the past.
