Tilda Appleseed

One morning, Molly knocks on Tilda's door, there's going to be a knitting competition. Tilda and Molly set off to the village shop to buy wool. The competition makes rivals of the friends.

Tilda Appleseed is a small white church mouse who loves her friends, delicious food and picnics. Every day is a wonderful day in Tilda's charming little village, where greater and smaller adventures await its inhabitants.

When Tilda breaks a teacup, for Molly there's only one explanation, it's Friday the 13th. Tilda dismisses this as pure superstition. After further mishaps, she begins to worry that maybe there is something to it.

Tilda dreams of learning to fly. Excited by Robin Robin's statement that anyone with wings can fly, Tilda makes herself some from lettuce leaves. Robin is supposed to give her flying instruction, but she gets bored with all the tedious theory.

As Rupert prefers to read than go out for a walk with Tilda, he pretends to have a cold. At once, Tilda declares herself his nurse. Molly, Edna, Billy, Benny, Robin and the Duck family join in the fitness programme.

One day, Tilda opens her front door and can't believe her eyes, there's an egg in her front garden. After a while, the egg cracks open and a chick hatches. As at that moment Tilda is not at home, the chick thinks Molly is its mother.
