Victoria Wood begins her tour of the former British Empire in Kolkata, taking a taxi through the city to see the remnants of life under the Raj. She then visits Darjeeling to understand the tea industry before heading to Hong Kong.

Victoria Wood discovers how the people of Ghana and Jamaica are moving on from their connections with the slave trade as she continues to discover the legacy of life under British rule. She also travels to the Canadian province of Newfoundland.

Victoria ventures onto Australia, visiting the prison in Tasmania where British boys as young as nine were incarcerated during the 19th century. The comedienne's last port of call is Zambia, where she visits Victoria Falls.
