Today, Fern and professional artist Lisa head to the maritime city of Plymouth in Devon, where four amateur painters are tasked with capturing a scene that is as historic as it is picturesque.

On the English Riviera in south Devon, four amateur painters try to capture the essence of the sea. Meadfoot Beach, with its beautiful beach huts and Regency crescent, is the jewel in Torbay's crown and was once a spa resort for the Victorians.

Fern Britton and Lisa Takahashi head to a country estate in Devon where four amateurs are tasked with capturing the location in one single painting. The Dartington Hall estate is home to the largest medieval manor house in the South West.

Four amateur artists are asked to capture one of the most iconic views in Devon. Plymouth Sound is acclaimed as one of the greatest natural harbours in the world. Bordered by historic Plymouth Hoe on one side and the Cornish coastline on the other.

In Devon four amateur artists attempt to capture a jewel of 20th-century British architecture - High Cross House on the Darlington estate. The house is thought to be the most important Modernist building in the county.

Fern heads to the North Yorkshire coast to conjure up the magic of the British seaside holiday. Judging the final painting today is army veteran and professional painter Ady Wright. He is on hand to guide the artists through this complex scene.
