Rabbit and co are tasked with solving the murder of a young woman. At first the case doesn't seem unusual, until they notice second bullet hole and a mysterious symbol on her make-up compact.

Rabbit and Strauss continue to hunt for the mysterious killer. Elsewhere, someone has designs on Mabel.

There's a sniper on the loose, but Rabbit, Strauss and Mabel are busy protecting Prince Hector of Bulgaria who is visiting London for vital peace talks.

Rabbit's lover Flora is facing the gallows for a crime she didn't commit, so Rabbit makes it his mission to try and save her.

Things are not looking good for Rabbit as it's clear he's either been framed for murder, or committed a murder. Either way, he's on the run, but Strauss and Mabel refuse to believe he's guilty.
