Megan and Chris present the contestants with a meaningful climb and the chance to send and name a first ascent; a no-hands boulder challenge determines the climbing order and, later, an unexpected circumstance shakes up the elimination climb.

The remaining climbers take on traditional climbing in a nail-biting challenge that forces them to place their own supports, testing both skill and focus; a surprise double elimination turns up the heat in the final climb.
